Plein Aire Watercolor on 100% Hot Pressed Rag Paper This is a little piece made powerful with a wider matt. Watercolor was a perfect medium to show the essence of the waves splashing against the rocks. I love turbulent water. When working with watercolor, white is the actual paper it’s on, which can be tricky to plan on a piece like this. The only paint tubes used here were Burnt Sienna (a rusty brown) and Ultramarine Blue. Mixed together they create a gray blue to a black. Size, Painting 7"x 9" ; Matted14.5" x 17.5"
